Soy wax is a vegetable wax. It is made from the oil of soybeans.  In a way, soy wax is non-poisonous.
Soy wax lasts longer than many other waxes because it burns slower and cooler which somehow helps to distribute the fragrance better.
Melting point rangeFrom 52 degrees Celsius. Invest in a thermometer during candle making.
Avoid overheating the wax for a long period of time which will result in discoloring the wax. Fragrance adding: Invest in a weighing scale to measure your fragrance oil.
Fragrance should be added around 90 degrees Celsius. 
To prevent the candles from cracking, the ideal temperature to pour the soy wax into a container range from 52 to 60 degrees Celsius.
